Millesimo combines the unique offerings of a well-stocked wine shop with the cozy ambience of a classic bistro with a familiar yet contemporary feel, enlivened by a young and passionate staff, in the heart of one of Italy's most beloved destinations of the moment.
The cozy atmosphere of the interior, surrounded by displays of wine bottles and crates and enlivened by dimmed lighting, is complemented by a roofed veranda and an atmospheric terrace directly on the lake, adjacent to the pier and in the heart of the picturesque lakeside village of Urio.
Opened in 2016 from an idea of brothers Jacopo and Emanuele Fazio and family, Millesimo since 2021 is led by restaurateur and sommelier Emanuele Riva and his wife Natalie, already owners of one of Como's best-loved restaurants for 20 years, La Cava dei Sapori.
Since 2023, also under the same ownership is the adjoining gourmet restaurant Acquadolce, where guests are invited to progress from an aperitif and wine tasting at Millesimo to a signature lunch or dinner experience from a cuisine recently awarded a forchetta by the prestigious Gambero Rosso guide.
